Winter in the South is just a short interlude between Autumn and Spring. Beginning in March the fruit trees of the Orchard begin to exhibit their green finery, leading to colorful blossoms and eventually throughout the late Spring, Summer and Fall to produce the finest of plums, nectarines, peaches, pears and apples
of all varieties. The production of these fruits will lead to freezing and preserving so that they will be enjoyed the year around, especially in the Winter when one yearns for fresh fruit. |
