Gracious Living in Retirement

nov.-dec 2002 033

Retirement living in the South has many advantages, the most important of which is the weather. Mild winters are enjoyable and the opportunity to use the fireplace for a couple of months makes living warm and comfy. Autumn is the nicest time of the year with warm days and cool nights.

Springtime has its thunderstorms and the occassional tornado but it does signify the coming of a warm season and the leafing and blossoming of all varieties of trees. Summer is warm and enjoyable to participate in a plethora of activities from gardening to sports to boating and fishing.

The abundance of land and space away from crowded cities gives an individual a spiritual renewal away from a former stressful environment. A person is able to persue new hobbies, volunteer activities or to do just nothing but relax. <bgsound src="WAWW.mid" loop="1">
